The provided ideas are just a few examples of the sessions
we can deliver directly to your school. As a dedicated non‑profit initiative,
our mission is to build a confident canine community, and a huge part of that
is teaching children how to interact safely and positively with dogs.
Talks and workshops for schools
We offer engaging talks and hands‑on workshops designed specifically for schools, helping children learn how to stay safe and calm around dogs. A key element of our sessions focuses on understanding dog body language, practising safe behaviour, and reducing the risk of dog bites through age‑appropriate guidance. Our fun, interactive activities use games and practical
demonstrations to make learning memorable and meaningful, giving pupils the
confidence to approach and interact with dogs safely.
Since community visits form part of our non‑profit mission, it
means that your first booking is completely free of charge. If you would like
to arrange regular visits, we simply ask for a small contribution of £10 to
help cover our expenses. We are based in Kettering and tend to cover educational
settings within a 25-mile radius.
Woof Wag is committed to spreading awareness around responsible
dog ownership and promoting safe, happy relationships between children and the
dogs. If your school has an upcoming event or community project, we would love
to be involved. Reach out a paw and tell us more about your idea.
